located in Laporte, MN. Within 15-40 miles of Bemidji, Walker, Cass Lake, and Park Rapids, Minnesota,
a vacation at Pine Beach Resort offers a variety of experiences. Many opportunities for dining,
shopping at antique malls, Reed's, Gander Mountain, clothing and novelty stores, (and coming soon a
large outlet mall) horseback riding,movie theaters, amusement parks, water slides, a hands on
science experience at the Headwaters Science Center, and golf courses including Maple Ridge Golf
Course, Tianna Country Club, and Longbow Golf Club.   Be sure to take in the local live theater at the
Paul Bunyan Playhouse   and the Woodtick Theater while you are on vacation with us. Public
recreation areas such as Itasca State Par k , where the Headwaters of the Mississippi River begin,
Bemidji State Park, and the Chippewa National Forest are all within a 40 minute drive as well and area
bike trails including the Paul Bunyan State Trail, and the Heartland Trail, both located within 5 miles
from Pine Beach Resort. Other nearby attractions include casinos such as the Palace Casino in Cass
Lake and the Northern Lights Casino and Hotel in Walker.
If you want to try more fishing spots while lodging in a cabin or camping on Lake Garfield in Laporte
MN, there are numerous lakes nearby including Leech Lake, Lake Kabekona, Lake Benedict, Cass
Lake, Lake Bemidji, and Lake Winnebagosh.
A U.S. Post Office, grocery store with bakery and meat counter and a gas station are just minutes away
in Laporte MN. You can even use one of the State bike trails to get there! Access to the bike trail is
just less than 1/4 mile down the road.
